First public meeting held in Canon Packham Hall, Douglas – Grange Change steering committee formed.

22nd Feb 2010

Grange Change submission to Review of Local Area Plans 2010-2020, Cork County – Carrigaline Local Area Plan, Cork City – South Environs.

15th Feb 2011

Registered letter sent to Jonathan Moss, owner of Vernon Mount House, expressing concerns with perilous condition of house. No response.

25th Mar 2011

Grange Change submission to National Roads Authority (NRA).

Changed name from Grange Change to Grange Frankfield Partnership.

21st May 2011

Grange Change Public Meeting held in Scoil Niocláis, Frankfield.

17th Oct 2011

Public meeting in Rochestown Park Hotel attended by local and national public representatives.

8th Dec 2011

GFP meeting with County Manager and Council Officials – County Manager endorsed our proposals to have the open spaces south of the N40 incorporated into the overall plan for the proposed landfill park and agreed to approach the City Manager in this regard.

25th Aug 2012

GFP exhibited at inaugural Open Day at former City landfill site.

1st Dec 2012

Completion of extensive roof repairs to Vernon Mount House undertaken by Cork County Council.

19th Feb 2013

Submission by GFP to  Cork County Council re DLUTs Plan.

23rd Feb 2013

Exhibited at second Open Day at Tramore Valley Park.

27th Feb 2013

Meeting with Senior Officials in Cork County Council.

13th June 2013

Meeting with Senior Officials in Cork County Council.

6th Aug 2013

SECAD TÚS Project commenced in Vernon Mount Valley.

25th Aug 2013

First Lecture in Vernon Mount Lecture Series by David Bosonnet of Brady Shipman Martin in Douglas Library.

5th Dec 2013

Meeting with Senior Officials in Cork County Council.

27th Mar 2014

Meeting with Senior Officials in Cork County Council.

2nd April 2014

Second Lecture in Vernon Mount Lecture Series by Peter Murray, Director, Crawford Art Gallery.

9th May 2014

Cork County Council announced the imminent purchase of land on Grange Road to provide public access to Vernon Mount Valley.

July 2014

Launch of Vernon Mount Park website.
